"And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good." Genesis 1:31
~~~Naturally Healthy![]() The first five tips were written by me as an adaptation on some tips I found in an old book called "The Art Of Good Living", by Svevo Brooks. Garden: The Perfect Seedbed, Square Foot Gardening d. Sew, Knit, Crochet. e. Draw a picture I could go even farther to say: f. Wash dishes by hand. g. Clean and scrub pots and pans. h. Now there...Just think about all the things we do with an appliance, a machine, an instrument, an electronic device and think how far we have gotten away from using our hands! MaryJane Butters has an article, webpage or something that discusses this, but I searched and searched and couldn't find it. Maybe it's in her book, though. Which, by the way has quite a few suggestions/ideas on naturally healthy things such as fermenting vegetables, organic foods, grain information, as well as recipes. UPDATE: I FOUND THE LINK!
**Note: I am not a clean freak, but have had all three of my older grandchildren sick with viral meningitis at the same time. They were very sick. The eldest almost died from bacterial spinal meningitis a year before this in 2002, after having the chicken pox, which lowers the immune system...(this was after she had gotten her immunizations, so this was a double whammy). If you ever experience this, you'll understand how I felt and why I am so particular about cleanliness after being in public, especially. Even though it is said these "germs" do reside in certain people without them even knowing it, but someone comes along with a weakened immune system, and bam, they catch it from them. Do your research.
Otherwise, I do believe dirt/germs is healthy to an extent. JUST BE SAFE, BE AWARE.
