Taco Chili
1 LB GROUND MEAT
1 SMALL ONION, diced small
1 PKG TACO SEASONING (or to taste)
2 8 OZ CANS TOMATO SAUCE
4 CANS WATER
1 SMALL CAN TOMATO PASTE
2-4 CANS OF BEANS (pinto, red kidney, light red kidney, pink beans. . .your choice)
1 15 oz CAN OF DICED TOMATOES
BROWN GROUND MEAT WITH ONIONS USING A POTATO MASHER TO BREAK UP MEAT AS SMALL AS YOU WANT IT, ADD SEASONING, STIR, ADD REMAINING INGREDIENTS, STIR AND SIMMER (VERY LOW) FOR 20 MINUTES.
SERVE WITH GRATED CHEESE AND CRACKERS OR CORNBREAD, OR YOUR CHOICE, OR NONE
NOTE: THE FIRST TIME I MADE THIS, MY HUSBAND COMPLAINED (BEFORE HE TASTED IT) THAT IT WOULDN'T BE AS GOOD AS MY REGULAR CHILI. WELL, HE LOVED IT! A LITTLE DIFFERENT IN THAT IT IS SOUPIER THAN NORMAL CHILI, BUT IT IS REALLY GOOD. MAYBE I SHOULD RENAME IT TACO CHILI SOUP.
